Editorial and sources policy
- Official sources first. For Padma Awards we use the Ministry of Home Affairs lists and Press Information Bureau releases. For Mann Ki Baat we use the official transcripts on pmindia.gov.in and pib.gov.in.
- Supporting sources. We add reputable newspapers, official organisation websites and similar sources. Wikipedia is used only to find leads, never as the only source.
- Original wording. Every story is written in our own words. We do not copy paragraphs from any source. Short quotations, when used, are clearly marked and attributed.
- No invented facts. We never add facts, quotes, ages or achievements that our sources do not support. Where sources disagree, we say so or leave the detail out.
- Citations on every page. Numbered markers like [1] in the text link to the full source list at the end of each story, with the date we accessed it.
- Human review. AI tools may help with a first draft. A person checks every fact and approves every story before it is published. Nothing is published automatically.
Corrections policy
We want every story to be right. If you spot an error, please tell us with the page address and, if possible, a source. We review every report. When we correct a published story, we add a dated note in a "Corrections" box on that page so readers can see what changed. Small fixes to spelling or formatting may be made without a note.
Image policy
We only use images that we own, that are in the public domain, that carry a Creative Commons licence, or that come from official sources whose terms allow reuse with credit. Every image is credited below and under the image itself. When we do not have a suitable image, we show a simple generated placeholder instead. We do not use the National Emblem, Padma medal images or government logos as decoration.
